Sea Kingdom Character Exploration

Character designs from character exploration series based on undersea rulers. Made during my first year at AI.

Evil queen character created after researching deep sea creatures and natural decay of large ocean life.

Kind ruler based off of Greek sirens and "Disney" heroines. Colors inspired from ocean waste and hidden treasures.

Initial concept design for Marina's character. Originally had a companion like other "famous" heroines but dropped due to simplistic design. Added more color to her original palette and made her outfit more "royal" vs "common folk".
